Following his acclaimed album Melancholia Beach (2024), multi-instrumentalist and electronic artist Peter Zirbs returned with “These Memories”, a luminous collaboration with singer and songwriter JD Bolland. Having previously worked with distinctive voices including former Archive frontman Craig Walker, Zirbs once again found a natural meeting point between atmosphere, emotion and understated pop. His new single “Black Shirt” strips things back further, with spacious electronics, subtle dub textures and a slow-burning reflection on time, memory and the things that stay with us. Both tracks point towards his forthcoming album, due in early 2027.
